66% believed that Dutchess would have a colt and she did! He is a handsome little guy and looks much like Selena's baby. Wow do they all look like dad or what?! Also there is a new addition to the baby count (off farm)--Cheerio had a little baby and his name is Captain Crunch!!! Hopefully we will be able to post some pictures from her new home!

Yes, yes the baby is Doozie's. He is sooooo cute! I got to meet him this weekend! Friendly, cute turned in ears, and ever so inquisitive! Oh what a doll baby! I told him that if he barked like a dog he could come home with me and live in the apartment! He said he would like to try but Morgan was not happy about that option and I figured Doozie would probably miss him! --Kristen

Selena's baby came early in the morning and we all missed the birth. Selena did a great job and is a very loving mommy. There was a little concern for Selena later in the day but she is doing great now. Oh and by the way for the 77% of you who chose filly...you were correct! She is a beautiful baby girl with legs that go on and on and on. She was having some trouble on that first day trying to figure out how such long legs could curl under her, but has gotten the hang of things!
We need to choose a name for the new girl.

All the babies were in the indoor to play yesterday. What a great site to see them play together. Oldest is 2 months and youngest one is 5 days.

Okay for the 33% who thought Fanny would foal first...You were right! ...and all of you who chose her to have a Filly (the minority choice)...You were right! A beautiful Filly was born this past week. She is black with some really nice markings! A real cutie. And Fanny has decided to be friendly with everyone and has taken on the role of mother extremely well. The baby is curious and super inquisitive! She likes people and seems to enjoy getting a good pat! Only time will tell who will foal next! Kristen keeps telling Virgil and Sheila to squeeze the mares because she will be watching the farm on her own over the weekend and is a little nervous about having to foal two new moms (if they decide to have them that is)!

Still snowing! Heard a cardinal today so spring is on the way! The horses will be happy to get outside and lounge in the sun! Listening to the drill team music to come up with some awesome moves. This years drill will have higher expectations and more complicated movements. I hope you are all pumped up about it!

Wow! It's Been a year since the last post...A lot to say but I will start with the newest member of the family!!! We have a new baby colt....Soldier/Impressive cross. Mom and baby are doing well! The vet. came yesterday and checked them both out. All is good! Pictures to be posted soon! A happy birthday goes out to Alex who turned 3! You go little man! Also it has been a snow filled winter but we are looking forward to a fun spring filled with possibly five more foals! How exciting! We will keep you posted on all the new additions! Also don't forget that the summer is just around the corner and we are looking forward to seeing you all at camp!
